About Karen
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming. Karen's hope is that by the end of getting to know her, you'll have a good sense of how she works and whether you'd be a good fit.
Maybe you're constantly overthinking conversations, stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, feeling disconnected from yourself; maybe you've spent years trying to "logic" your way out of difficult emotions, but nothing really changes. Therapy with Karen is a space to slow down, better understand these patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.
As a second-generation Vietnamese American, Karen brings a deep understanding of the role culture plays in our lives. Together, you'll make sense of the patterns that keep showing up, in your relationships, your emotions, and the way you respond to stress, to help life feel a little less overwhelming and a little more manageable.
Karen also treats eating disorders and OCD under the clinical supervision of Rebeka Davidson, LMFT, founder of Sol Shine Wellness Group. This specialized work is integrated within the same warm, collaborative approach Karen brings to all of her clients.
Karen will gently challenge you when it's helpful, support you along the way, and leave room for the occasional laugh, too. She offers a free 15-minute consultation call so you can see if you're a good fit before committing to anything.
